Uma Nota

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Uma Nota is a Brazilian Japanese restaurant concept that has found success in Hong Kong and Paris, now open in Manila. Designed by The Odd Duck Studio with lighting by Baseline Lighting Design Studio, we provided innovative architectural lighting solutions. The restaurant features four distinct areas: the living room, bar, Tropicalia room, and Meiji room. The living room showcases a striking hanging tree sculpture, enhanced by our Neon Flex lighting around large arches. Our recessed Opli trimless downlights offer cozy illumination. The bar countertop appears to float with our undercounter Neon Flex lighting, adding depth to the drink shelves. The Tropicalia room captures a vintage Brazilian vibe with illuminated vinyl and art displays, while the Meiji room features Japanese-inspired wooden accents, both lit by our COB strip lights. Our Opli trimless downlights maintain a clean ceiling aesthetic.
