The chips are produced in batch (millions of LED Chip) upon process completion we track & control color consistency of Chips. The MacAdam step is the index that provides the accuracy of color temperature distinguished by human eyes. This process that segregates the chips according to this factor is called the binning. The binning defines the rating from 1Step MacAdam to 5step MacAdam.

Why it is so important?

The landscape of architecture is made to be harmonious in terms of lighting intent. The smaller the MacAdam step is, the most consistent & harmonious the design result is.
